Botticelli Project is powered by Casa Eco Passiva Sicilia Association which focus to diffuse concept of  Active Houses in Sicily 

Energy

Low energy requirment is process  by  Passiv Haus protocol  adapted to South Italy climate.

Primary energy is  satisfied by Photo Voltaic  Solar panel  and Micro wind generator

Enery production system   exceed  building needs .

Energy production  and  Energy  needs  are  supervised and monitored by an Energy Management System based on KNX  protocol  for  Building Automation and Control Systems .

Over  energy production will  be  placed  to the national electrical grid   

Indoor climate

Indoor  climate  design simulation is carried out  together with  Politecnico of Milan  eERG  group  to focus  passive cooling  and  adaptive solutions.  

Environment

Environment impact  is processed   by LCA  (life cycle assessment)  to get  indicators.

Further description

Project  target is to built a new concept of building  :

1) passiv haus  built under mediteranean climate condition 

2) zero energy - zero carbon building

3) active house   

4) Casaclima certification  and   Passiv Haus certification
