Knowledge - three themes

DESIGN PROCESS - PRODUCTS & TECHNOLOGY - PERFORMANCE & TEST

The method to drive progress towards the Active House vision is experimentation and exchange of knowledge. By means of interdisciplinary cooperation in building projects, target groups can work together and gain knowledge and experience of relevant topics which are both valuable in themselves and that at the same time lead to a clarification of the Active House vision. Such collaboration can be established by means of networking or early involvement in building projects.

Different interests are represented and they focus on different aspects - from theoretic building design and design philosophy to tests of the houses and product specifications. To meet all interests the networking and knowledge sharing will be treated in relation to three themes (or target groups) referring to the vision and the experiments.

The three targets/themes are both valuable as isolated themes and at the same time help to clarify the unity in the Active House vision.
